“ So glad I stopped here last time I was in Houston. I got a vanilla, lavender latte and it was delicious. The atmosphere was great and the staff was very friendly and we even had a few conversations with some of the employees. There are plenty of seating options for people who just want to sit and chat, inside or outside, as well as a ton of seating for more studying type purposes. If I lived nearby, I would definitely be here a few times a week to study and get a coffee. Their food and cocktail options also looked fantastic and I would love to go back and try a few ”

“ Great service, great food and drinks. All of this by how crowded it was on a Sunday afternoon. Despite two parking lots and all the street parking, it was really hard to find a parking spot for my car or for our group. Great coffee house vibe with students getting work done, people of all ages meeting and enjoying a Sunday. ”

“ This is the coolest spot for breakfast and coffee. Although the cappuccino was a little too hot, it was still good. The breakfast was great and the staff was amazing!! The sweet girl at the register made sure our order was correct and helped our day start off well. My favorite part was the girl singing out the names for the orders. The green salsa, even though it doesn’t have onions is flavorful and packs little kick. Let’s talk about the vibes, the place plays an eclectic mix of upbeat house music that creates a welcoming atmosphere. The team is friendly and helpful yet honest with their recommendations. This is a good place to grab a coffee, a drink or causal bite to eat. Many people also take at vantage of areas to study in here. ”

“ This place is super vibrant. I love the little details of this cafe and instagram pictures spots! We tried the mootada (milk version of cortada) and loved it. I’d definitely not recommend the cafe con leche’ which was a fail. This place can get really busy since people like to work at the cafe. And parking can be tough to find as well. They have parking in front of the cafe and towards the back building and otherwise street parking (paid & free) are options. They also have a cute outdoor seating area. ”

“ Cozy upscale bar and cafe located in East Downtown Houston area, right next to the Shell Stadium. They have good small bites such as fries, pastries, and sandwiches, as well as a wide array of coffee and alcoholic drinks, for not too expensive and decent portions. The bartenders are nice, and food comes out fast. There's lots of seating areas, but they do fill up quickly, and lots of folks use it as a study spot, although the ambiance is a bit loud. Lots of plants and fun decor to make it a good hangout spot. Coffee was good, nothing over the top, but the ambiance made it a great experience. Would definitely recommend as a spot to study or hangout with friends. ”

“ I stopped in at Brass Tacks today for the first time and I'm so glad I did. For starters, this place is so cute. From the outside area to the adorable inside. I loved the whole aesthetic was great. If I lived closer, working from home, I would so come work here. The staff was amazing. So friendly and helpful to me being my first time there. I had the chicken gyro and a side of fries. Yum! It was so good. The fries were great. I also got a pineapple mimosa, which was so worth it. The champagne was strong just how I like! Check this place out if you haven't! I highly recommend. ”
